Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Varord Pro ("the app", "we") collects, uses and protects your information. Varord Pro is a driving-theory exam-preparation app for Armenia. Using the app without an account is possible; some features (cloud sync, comments) require signing in.
1. Information we collect
- Account data — when you sign in with Apple or Google: your email address, your name (if you choose to share it) and an authentication identifier. We never see your Apple or Google password.
- Learning progress — your answers, scores, streaks and settings, stored on your device and, when signed in, synced to our backend so you can restore them on another device.
- User content — comments you post on questions, shown to other users together with your display name.
- Purchase data — if you subscribe, our payment partner processes your purchase history and entitlement status. We never receive your card or payment details; payment is handled by Apple or Google.
- Advertising identifiers — if you use the free version, our advertising partner may process your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android) to show ads. On iOS this happens only if you allow tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
2. How we use it
- To provide the app: authentication, progress sync, comments, subscriptions.
- To show advertising to free users (personalized only with your consent; otherwise non-personalized).
- To maintain safety: moderating comments and preventing abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for purposes other than those listed above.
3. Service providers
- Supabase — hosting of accounts, synced progress and comments.
- RevenueCat — subscription entitlement management.
- Google AdMob — advertising in the free version.
- Apple / Google — sign-in and payment processing.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and only as needed to operate the app.
4. Tracking
On iOS, the app asks for permission through App Tracking Transparency before any tracking for advertising. If you decline, ads remain non-personalized. You can change this any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Subscribers see no ads and are not tracked for advertising.
5. Data retention
Account data, synced progress and comments are kept while your account exists. Local progress stays on your device until you delete the app. Advertising identifiers are processed transiently by the ad provider.
6. Deleting your account and data
You can delete your account directly in the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, synced progress and comments from our servers. You can also request deletion by emailing support@varordpro.app from the address associated with your account; we complete requests within 30 days.
7. Children
The app is intended for people preparing for a driving licence and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS). Authentication tokens are stored on your device using platform secure storage (Keychain-protected encryption). Access to server data is restricted by row-level security.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Contact us at support@varordpro.app to exercise these rights.
10. International transfers
Our servers may be located outside your country. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page; continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
